Business process consulting in Austin

A close look at how work really moves through your business, where it stalls, and what to fix first. No thick report. Just a short plan you can act on.

Signs it’s time for a second look

  • The same information gets typed into two or three different systems.
  • One person holds the whole process in their head, and everything stops when they’re out.
  • You can’t answer “how did we do this month?” without an afternoon in spreadsheets.
  • You pay for software nobody is sure anyone uses.
  • Leads, invoices or follow-ups occasionally fall through the cracks, and you find out late.
  • You’ve added staff, and somehow everyone is still behind.

What we look at

The path of your work

We follow a job from the first call to the final payment and write down every step, handoff and wait. That usually turns up steps nobody chose on purpose. They just built up over the years.

Your software

We list what you pay for, who uses it and what overlaps. Dropping or combining subscriptions is often the quickest win of the whole exercise.

Your numbers

We work out the few figures that actually tell you how the business is doing, and where they should come from, so they stop depending on someone’s memory.

What you get

A short written plan: what to fix, in what order, what each change costs and roughly what it should save. Some items will be simple changes you can make yourself tomorrow. Some might be a project for us, and some might be a job for your bookkeeper or another specialist. We’ll say so.

Fix the process before you automate it

Automating a messy process just gets you the mess faster. That’s why this review often comes before any AI automation. Removing a pointless step costs nothing and never breaks.

Common questions

How much of our team’s time will this take?

We keep it light. Mostly it means short conversations with the people who do the work, plus a look at the tools they use, scheduled around your busy times.

Are we too small for this?

Often the smaller the team, the more each lost hour matters. If even two or three people are handing work to each other, there’s usually something worth finding.

Do we have to hire you for the changes?

No. The plan is yours, and it’s written so you can carry it out yourself or with anyone you choose.
